There will be privacy for the parties included in as long as the consequence is not accessible to the public if the process is being held outside of the court.
Nonetheless, there are disadvantages in conciliation too. Each party will be left in the original position as they began if there is no agreement which can be made among the parties. Not just that, parties will be frustrated especially to those who have put in their effort and even invested money and time into the process as there is no binding decision passed on. Besides, the unbiased nature of the conciliator can be questioned as the capability for them to associate themselves in the proceedings with their active involvement, although the conciliator is meant to be an impartial third party.
